About Me

 Hi! I’m Meghan. I’m a working wife and mom of one boy who loves the great outdoors and my home state of Michigan.

I’ve known my husband about 15 years and we’ve been married since 2017. We have two energetic dogs, Zooey a 11 year old red Golden Retriever who’s been my sidekick since my college days at GVSU, and Artie a 5 year old black German Shepherd who does things her own way. In 2021 we welcomed our sweet, clever, sometimes mischievous, son Harry.

We love our life in Michigan and even though my husband and I both have busy careers, we enjoy spending time outdoors as a family. Hiking, gardening, camping, and sight seeing around the Great Lakes state are some favorite things to do with our precious free time together.

Doing adventurous activities with a young toddler can be challenging but I think that fostering a love and appreciation for the natural beauty the mitten, and possibly the U.P. even more so (I mean I don’t  know about you, but I can’t get over the gorgeous waterfalls, wildlife, and landscape up there), has to offer in our son is incredibly important.
